Mr. Joseph E. Godin, age 78 of Lisbon, previously of Milford and beloved husband to the late Jean Godin, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at William Backus Hospital in Norwich. Born on September 1, 1932 in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Frank and Lydia Chase Godin. Joseph served proudly in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War. Joseph is survived by two loving daughters, three grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews Friends and family may call on Monday, April 25th from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St, Milford, CT 06460. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 26th at 11 a.m. in Cody-White Funeral Home, Milford, CT 06460. Interment immediately following at King's Highway Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joe's name to The American Cancer Society Published in Connecticut Post on Apr. 24, 2011
