Survivors include three sons, three daughters;fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Linda Smith, a son-in-law Bill Johnson, and two brothers.
Mr. Daniel was a 1948 graduate of Holy Angels High School and attended a technical school for two years. He was the owner of Daniel's Pastry shop in downtown Piqua for many years until his retirement in 1995. He was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Piqua Lions Club. He enjoyed camping, boating, traveling and woodworking. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Thomas L. Bolte as the Celebrant. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
