Marriage - Brengel - Harrison - Sea Cliff, L.I., July 5, Announcement has been made of the marriage in New York City on June 18, of James Brengel, son of George Brengel of this village, and Miss Bessie Harrison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Harrison of New York. The ceremony was performed at St. Paul's Church. Miss Mabel O'Connor of New York and Frank Ford of Sea Cliff were the attendants. Mr. and Mrs. Brengel will reside in Sea Cliff.

James Francis Brengel, a Master Signal Electrician in the U.S. Army, of Sea Cliff, New York, born January 1, 1883, died of disease on November 7, 1918.

In 1920, Elizabeth Brengel, aged 29, widowed, born in New York, was living on Downing Avenue, Oyster Bay, Nassau, New York, with her son, James F. Brengel, aged 1 year, 8 months, born in New York, and her widowed father, William Harrison, aged 68, born in Ireland Her father was shown to have come to the United States in 1885 and had become a citizen in 1890.
