Karen Fisher Keith, age 43, of Dacula, GA., passed away Monday, December 5, 2016.

Karen was preceded in death by her father, Michael Hugh Fisher; her father-in-law, Dennis Keith; and sister-in-law, Lori Criss.

She is survived by her husband of 12 years, her mother, a brother and sister-in-law, and their son, her mother-in-law and several cousins and extended family.

Karen was born and raised in Waco, TX, where she attended Western Heights Baptist Church and accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior around the age of 10. She was a member of the Waco Girls’ Choir, and was involved in sports during her time at Midway High School and Southwest Texas College. As an adult she was very involved in her church; First Baptist Church of Roanoke, TX, where she served as church secretary, and an AWANA and VBS teacher. She was the owner of the online company, The Ravenwood; a specialty craft store she named after her favorite movie Raiders of the Lost Ark. She and her husband traveled many times to Mackinac Island, Michigan, France, Spain, Switzerland and Italy. She had a passion for Italy and their cuisine and culture, and dreamed of living there one day.

Karen had a smile and a laugh that made everyone around her love her. She was a faithful friend and had a passion for gourmet cooking, her book club, and especially for her 2 dogs; Cotton and Chewy. Karen’s favorite verse is Romans 8:28.

The graveside service to Honor and Celebrate the Life of Karen Fisher Keith will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Waco Memorial Park, 6623 Interstate Highway 35S, Robinson, TX. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made by clicking the link below to the Emory Winship Cancer Institute; Emory Winship Cancer Institute.
