Rosalie Gloria Roberts, age 95, died on December 1, 2016.

Born February 27, 1921, in Grand Junction, Colorado, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Vicenza Roberts.

Rosalie started working at Liff's, a ready-to-wear fashion store, when she was 17, and spent the next 60 years dressing the women of the Grand Valley with passion and joy. She retired in 1996 as the store's owner.

Always proud of her Italian heritage, Rosalie loved nothing more than spending time in her sunny kitchen baking, cooking, and canning for her loved ones. For all who received nourishment from her generously shared meals, it was clear that the secret ingredient was love. A ripe, red tomato always brought a smile to her face.

Along with fashion and food, Rosalie's greatest devotion was to her family.

She was preceded in death by husband, Ed Roberts; son, Gary Roberts; siblings, Bud Roberts and Eleanor Nourse.

She is survived by sister, Lorraine Bagghott; daughter-in-law, Barbara (Dick) Fulton; granddaughters, Andrea Turner and Jill Roberts, and two great-granddaughters.

Memorial services were previously held.

Please consider making a memorial contribution to HopeWest Hospice, 3090B North 12th Street, Grand Junction, CO 81506.
