Betty C. Slaughter age 82 passed away Tuesday December 6, 2016. Betty was born July 10, 1934 in Blain, KY the daughter of the late Roscoe Boggs and Irene (Hackney) O'Hare.

Along with her parents Betty is preceded in death by a son: Gregory Neil Collins and 3 sisters.

Betty is survived by her husband John Edward Slaughter; daughter: Brenda Phillips (Michael), son: William D. Collins; grandchildren: Tiffany, Faith, Craig and Tara. Betty is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Betty was a avid supporter of the Humane Society and Paralyzed Veterans.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Thursday December 8, 2016 at the McColaugh Funeral Home 826 N. Detroit St Xenia, Ohio 45385. The family will receive friends Thursday December 8, 2016 from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at the Woodland Cemetery Xenia, Ohio.
