She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Loy Dean Hutchins, brother Ronnie Voyles, sister Leta Fern Voyles and her daughter Shawn Dee Hutchins Eicher.
Survivors include one brother Billy William Voyles, one granddaughter Ellie Danielle Eicher, the love of her life since the passing of her daughter Shawn, also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Shirley worked for many years for Brownsboro ISD in the cafeteria and for “The Shed” in Edom. She was a graduate of Brownsboro High School the class of 1969. She was a member of Opelika Missionary Baptist Church and also attended Edom Baptist Church. Shirley was a lifelong resident of the Brownsboro-Edom communities with a long family history.
Burial to follow at the Edom Cemetery, Edom, Texas.
