Robert Tieger was a real estate agent and investor. He had a complicated life which included multiple lawsuits for real estate fraud, theft and arrests. He married Christina Sylvia Perea. Together they had four children, Elizabeth, Todd, David and Jennifer. Jennifer died in 1990 at the age of 22. Robert died suspiciously in a house fire in Mt Washington, Los Angeles, California as he was vacating the property. Even though Fire Department dogs detected the scent of human remains his remains were not found until January 2017 when they were demolishing the building. His parents were Julius and Jean Tieger from Austria. He's survived by a brother Joseph, his ex-wife and three of his children. He was 81 years old.
