McCALL, BIRDIE F. (SLOAN) -- Former Parker Woman, 87, Succumbs -- Parker - Mrs. Birdie F. Sloan McCall, 87, formerly of Parker RD, died Friday following a lingering illness in the Fleckenger Rest Home in Meadville. She was the widow of Burton McCall. A native of Clarion County, she was born Feb. 2, 1872, a daughter of the late Samuel and Rebecca Davis Sloan. She married Mr. McCall Aug. 15, 1899. He died in December of 1950. She was a member of the Concord Presbyterian Church near Rimersburg. She is survived by three sons, Burton McCall of Parker RD, Raymond McCall of West Virginia and John McCall of Parker and Washington DC; one daughter, Mrs. Florence Kerr of Meadville, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The body was removed to the Hawks Funeral Home in Sligo. Oil City Derrick, Tuesday, June 2, 1959
