WEYMOUTH Marie E. Dmitruk, of Weymouth, formerly of Halifax, died Friday, July 3, 2009, at South Shore Hospital. She was 68 years old. She was born in Brockton, daughter of the late Edward and Flora (Alberts) Murphy; mother of Stephen Dmitruk of Florida, Jane Dmitruk of Weymouth, Arlene Avery of Brockton and the late Kathie Fiumara and Dawn Dmitruk; sister of Walter Murphy of Halifax, Robert Murphy of Brockton and the late Joseph Murphy, Edward Murphy, Leo Murphy, Kay Bates and Margariete Mousette; dear friend of Barry Stewart of Westwood. Also survived by 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Marie enjoyed playing Bingo and was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). Calling hours Tuesday, July 7, from 4-7 p.m. in the Sampson-Hickey-Grenier Funeral Home, 309 Main St., Brockton, a funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
