"Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies…strength and honor are her clothing…in her tongue is the law of kindness…She looketh well to the ways of her household…her children arise up and call her blessed…a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised…let her own works praise her in the gates"
~ Proverbs 31
Stella Mae Parker, age 90 of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 2, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was a loving and caring Godly mother, grandmother and friend. Stella accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior as a young girl; and finally was able to achieve her lifetime dream of being baptized in the river at age 89. On August 9, 2015, Brother Raymond Perry baptized her with her great grandchildren, Tyler and Kaycee Bowman.

"Grams, it was in your heart that I found my home; by your side, I was never alone. You gave me strength, comfort, and a wealth of love few will ever know; for them there's no value, unless it's gold. My gold was found in your heart, in simple comfort of ordinary days. I thank you so, for all you gave. Now you are gone and so are those days; my heart goes with you to your Heavenly home. All my love and forever, Your Kenny."
