Jimmy Harold Stone, 77, of Silverton went to be with His Lord and Savior on December 4, 2016 in Silverton. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Silverton. Interment will follow at the Silverton Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home.

Jimmy was born February 28, 1939 in Lorenzo, Texas. Jimmy married Madeline Brinegar in Ralls on August 25, 1961.
He retired from GTE in 1995. After retirement Jimmy enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Senia Pearl Roller and Velma Lue Cotter, and 2 brothers, John Stone and Henry Stone.

Jimmy is survived by many members of his loving family: son Jimmy Dewayne Stone and wife Stephonie Stone of Lubbock, and daughter Melissa Leigh Estes and husband Ross Estes of Silverton. His 5 grandchildren: Amber and Jerry Lovall, Andrew and Stephanie Stone, Payton and Brittany Estes, Jimmy Shane Estes, and Harli Stone. And his 8 great-grand children: Morgan, Braelyn, Kambree, Westin, Kyleigh, Kade, Rylee and Grace.

He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Lura Myers, Morine Stillhan, Roddie Starkey, Elmer Stone, Jess Stone, and Roy Stone.
