Shannon Dawn Strickland, 38, of Charleston passed away on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016 at her residence.
She was a supervisor for Rite Aid in Poca, and loved animals. Shannon was a 1996 graduate and majorette of Herbert Hoover High School, and a twirler for WV State College, Institute.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bill Taylor and Emogene Taylor Underwood.
Shannon is survived by her parents, Randy and Dorene Taylor Strickland; brother, Todd Strickland and his wife, Paige; paternal grandparents Hubert and Bonnie Strickland; also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
A private service will be held for the family. Shannon will be laid to rest at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.
