Mary L. “Peppy” Wenner, of Williamsport, passed away at Williamsport Regional Medical Center on Monday, Nov. 28, 2016.
Mary was a daughter of Edward A. and Elizabeth (Fischer) Wenner.
She was a life-long member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and a graduate of the former St. Mary’s High School. Mary had been employed at the former Trimtex for many years and retired from Pneu-Dart in 2000.
She enjoyed going out to eat, attending shows at the Community Theater League and the Community Arts Center. She was a talented seamstress, enjoyed baking and was an avid Phillies fan, but her greatest joy was spending time with family.
Surviving are her brother, James L. (Shirley) Wenner, of Lancaster; nieces and nephews, Elaine (Hughey) Woodring, of Jersey Shore, Denise (Thomas) Holmes, of Cogan Station, Patricia (Matthew) Cheatle, of Williamsport, Robert (Robin) Fortney, of Bel Air, Md., Thomas (Jeannine) Wenner, of Greensboro, N.C., Susan Wenner, Beth (Patrick ) Wenner, Anthony (Harriet) Wenner and Michael (Diana) Wenner, all of Lancaster; 14 great nieces and nephews; five great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, a brother, Leo Wenner and sisters, Charlotte L. Fortney and Dorothy Wenner, all preceded her in death.
Burial: St. Boniface Church Cemetery.
