He was of the Penecostal faith. He loved four- wheeling, hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh L. and Cardilia McGhee Marlowe; brother, Arnold Marlow; sister, Ollie Marlowe; daughter in law, Deborah Marlowe.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Marlowe; son and daughter in law, Danny and Jeanette Marlowe of Caryville; son, Michael L. Marlowe of Cleveland; daughters and son in law, Janis and Alan Ley of Wyandotte, MI, Debbie Jayme, Flat Rock MI; brother, Freeman Marlow, Caryville; sisters, Stella Hensley of Chilhowie, VA, Beulah Cole, Manchester, TN, Dora Messer Caryville; 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; special nephew, Stevie Campbell; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Dec. 14 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Ritchey and Rev. Paul Hembree officiating.
Interment was in the Marlow cemetery.
