Henry M. Hollis, 81, died on Nov. 4, 2011, in Panama City. He was born in Slocomb, Ala., to the late Walt Hugh Hollis and Verla Mae Palmer. Mr. Hollis worked for Gulf Power as a lineman for over 39 years. He was a member of the Panama Country Club, coached Little League for 13 years, was an avid softball player for many years, enjoyed hunting and fishing, was a member of Cliff West Sunday School Class, a member of Hiland Park Baptist Church for over 50 years and a veteran of the United States Air Force and the United States Navy.

Mr. Hollis is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jodean Harden Hollis; one daughter, Paula Busby and her husband, Ben, of Lynn Haven, Fla.; two sons, Blake Hollis and his wife, Cindy, of Lynn Haven, Fla., and Walt Hollis and his wife, Kathi, of Panama City, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Dustin Gilbert, Erica Puckett, Renee Hollis, Kelsi Hollis, Melanie Busby, Madalyn Busby and Anna Hollis; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services for Mr. Hollis will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Pastor Steven Kyle officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 1 p.m. at cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hiland Park Baptist Church building fund in Mr. Hollis' memory.
