Frances Ferriero DeRosa, 89, of Whiting, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012, at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Harrison, NJ, she lived in Orange before moving to Whiting in 1983. She was a member of the Crestwood Village VI Safety Patrol, Line Dancing and Aerobics Clubs. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.

Frances was predeceased by her husband, Vincent F. DeRosa in 2000 and two brothers, Jimmy Ferriero in 1985 and Mike Ferriero in 2011. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Vincent M. and Donna DeRosa of Old Bridge; three brothers and sisters-in-law, George Ferriero of North Arlington, Peter and Joyce Ferriero of Gouldsboro, PA and Joseph and Eleanor Ferriero of Clifton,; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Bridget Regg of Brick and Marie and Charles Mondaro of Harrison and three sisters-in-law, Marge Ferriero of Lyndhurst, Claire Ferriero of North Arlington and Edith DeRosa of Toms River.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 31 at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
