Born in New Haven, CT, she had been a resident of Jensen Beach for 28 years and recently of Port St. Lucie coming from Branford, CT.
Before retiring she was a secretary for Echlin Manufacturing in Branford for 20 years.
She was a member of the Nettles Island Theater Guild and the Foot Lites Senior Dance Troupe.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen Civittolo of Port St. Lucie; her son, David Terry and his wife Ellen of Branford, CT; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchild and her siblings, Albert R. Coates and his wife Paula of New Haven, CT, Mavis Smith and her husband, Robert of Clinton, CT and Nancy Higley and her husband Robert and Sandra Walsh and her husband Richard all of Guilford, CT.
She was preceded in death by her husband William R. Terry in 2008 and a great grandson, David Drouin in 2002.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
