BILLERICA -- Andrea (Shea) Fitzgerald, a lifelong resident of Billerica, died unexpectedly Wednesday November 23rd, at Lahey Hospital in Burlington at the young age of 37.
She was born in Winchester, August 28, 1979, she was the daughter of the late Russell Shea, and the beloved wife of Eric Fitzgerald.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Sydney, Christopher, Emma, Bryanne and Elizabeth, as well as her uncle, Gary Shea and his wife, Theresa of Chelmsford; her Aunt Susan Shea; her mother and father in-law, Thomas and Sharon Fitzgerald of Billerica; her brother and sisters-in-law, Jennifer and Joseph Lloyd, and Shawn Fitzgerald, and Monica Murnane, and many nieces and nephews that adored their "Auntie Andrea", and many friends that are like family.
Her children said that their mother's greatest pleasure was making them happy. She did this in so many ways, by running them around to cheering, football, Canobie lake, movies, ice skating, Disney, she never stopped and was always planning her next adventure with them. She always said her husband Eric was her soul mate, and loved him with all her heart. She loved spending the summer at her camp ground with her camp family, boating, tubing, riding the quads, and sitting by the fire. She was also a big part of the Pop-Warner family and a dedicated "football and cheer mom". Anyone that knew Andrea knew that she would give you shirt off her back if you needed it and that she had the uncanny ability to tell a whole story with out even stopping to take a breath.
She was loved so much by her family and friends. We will forever have a void in our hearts without her.
