Mable LeAnne Martin, beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend. Born into this world Wednesday, January 18, 1928 in Stinnett, Texas to her loving parents, Loyd & Vera (Claggett) Stoner; went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her loving family by her side. Mable or better known as "LeAnne" to her family and friends has been a resident of the Tulsa area for many years. Raised in Plainville, Kansas; LeAnne grew up working in her family's diner and at a young age was entrusted to run the diner for her parents while they were away. She later relocated to Chelsea, Oklahoma with her first husband where they ran a successful business together for many years. When LeAnne and her first husband decided to go their separate paths in life, she relocated back to Plainville, Kansas to be close to her family and friends. While relocating she met the love of her life and on Saturday, July 18, 1959 in Plainville, Kansas they began their lives together as husband and wife and eventually relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma where they settled and raised their loving family together. After moving to Tulsa LeAnne took a position at Nelson Electric, later she took a position with Bama Pie and then Zebco where she retired. But after a short time she missed work and returned to the workforce, taking a position at Badger Meter where she worked thirteen years before her final retirement in 1993. LeAnne was a hard worker but in her free time she enjoyed many things such as gardening; knitting and crocheting especially making clothing, towels and even house shoes, even joining a knit club. But what LeAnne was truly passionate about was her family; she loved family get-togethers and making everyone's favorite dishes especially desserts. Fond memories will always be cherished of LeAnne, especially her love of animals, how she ran the kitchen at family get-togethers and of course her paper bag apple pie and lemon cake. She will be deeply missed by all those who had their lives touched by her. LeAnne is preceded in death by her beloved husband of forty-eight years, Charles J. Martin; her loving parents, Loyd & Vera (Claggett) Stoner; her dearly loved son, Kenneth Fox; her loving son-in-law, Steve Crawford; her dear siblings, Connie Neusbaum, Billy Mayo and Harvey Loyd Stoner.
