She was born December 17, 1945, in Washington, a daughter of the late Charlie Herold Cummins and Sarah Genevieve Stollar Cummins.
A graduate of McGuffey High School, Mrs. Kirk-Lindsay worked as an office manager at a medical practice. She loved cooking, sewing, flowers, and keeping a spotless home.
Mrs. King-Lindsay was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church.
She was a loving and giving person who will be missed by many.
In 1965, she married her first husband, Lloyd Liggett King, Jr., who is deceased.
On May 8, 2015, she married Don Lindsay, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Troy (Kathrin) King of Baltimore, Maryland; two step-daughters, Laura (Joe) McNeil of Washington and Jennifer (Greg) Zuk of Wheeling, West Virginia; a brother, Harold E. (Connie) Cummins of Avella; a sister, Shirley Ranson of Greenville, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Benjamin, Tyler and Patrick King; six step grandchildren, Taylor, Alexa, and Krista McNeil, and Abram, Seth and Rachel Zuk; and many loving nieces and nephews, who will miss her greatly.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, December 5th, in Abundant Life Baptist Church, with Rev. George Garancosky officiating. Burial will follow in Independence Cemetery. Those attending the funeral service are to meet at the church.
