BURLINGTON — Ms. Brenda Faye Williamson, 72, of 1562 Morgantown Road in Burlington, transitioned from labor to reward on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015, at the Hospice & Palliative Care Center in Alamance.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Udis Lee Williamson and Mrs. Margie Magaline Miles Williamson.
She was a proud graduate of Jordan-Sellars High School Class of 1961, a 1966 graduate of Shaw University and was a retired educator with the Halifax County School System.
Brenda is survived by her sisters, and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29 at Morgantown Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Miles Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
