Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Ms. Jacquelyn "Jackie" Price, age 87 of Swainsboro, GA, on Wednesday, November 30, 2016.
Funeral services will be Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 3 PM in the Blundale Baptist Church with Elder Tommy Rountree officiating and Rev. Tim Price assisting. Interment will follow in the Blundale Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 2 PM until time of service. Pallbearers are Jim Thompson, Jon Thompson, Donnie Garrett, Jimmy May, Tommy Riner, and Jack Riner.
Mrs. Price was born in Swainsboro to the late Remus and Sallie Mae Peebles Riner. Jackie was a homemaker, a lifetime member of the Blundale Baptist Church, a member of the Blundale Homemakers Club, and enjoyed cooking, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She is preceded in death by her husband, Barnie Price and grandson, Casey Price.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Mason (Chuck) of Statesboro; a son, Mitch Price (Tracey) of Screven; two sisters, Janice Allagood and Joann Thompson; three grandchildren, Chet Mason, Trevor Mason, and Eric Price; several nieces and nephews, and extended family.
