Sandra McCullough Lindsey (68), devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, niece, cousin, and friend, died Thursday at her home. Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Margie and Lester McCullough. Sandy was a graduate of Hillcrest High where among many things she was a cheerleader, FFA Sweetheart, and President of Future Homemakers of America. She was a graduate of Greenville Technical College where she was the first Miss Greenville Tech. She was Marketing Director at the Convention and Visitors Bureau in Granbury, TX. She received her certificate of Texas Hospitality from Texas A&M, serving as an ambassador and instructor. She most recently enjoyed her role with the Greenville County Farm Bureau on Tanner Road. She was a charter and original staff member and volunteer at Brookwood Church. Sandy was proud of her community, her Southern heritage, and shared the love of Jesus with everyone she encountered.

Surviving in addition to her loving husband, John, are: three daughters Marlo McDonald (Bobby) of Simpsonville, Mindy Rodenburg (Todd) of Denver, CO, and Kristin Dawsey (Jason) of Simpsonville; brother Larry McCullough (Ann) of Indian Land, SC; and step-son Kevin Lindsey (Patti) of Clinton, OK. Also surviving are ten grandchildren: Andy, Abby, Anna, and Matt McDonald; Ryder, Carson, and Grey Rodenburg; Mac Dawsey; and Chandler and Reed Lindsey.

A Celebration of Life will be Monday at 6pm at Brookwood Church, Simpsonville. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Safe Harbor P.O. Box 174 Greenville, SC 29601 attn: Donation in Memory of Sandy Lindsey. Online guest registry is available at www.thepalmettomortuary.com.
