Obituary;
Mrs. Pauline Marie Marshall McGill, 76, of Kingston, passed away Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville.

She was born Feb. 26, 1940, in Harriman. Mrs. McGill was a dedicated deli employee with Ingles Markets for over 25 years. She began her employment there on Oct. 5, 1992, and very much enjoyed her job, even considering her co-workers as her other family. She was a member of the Big Emory Baptist Church in Harriman.

Mrs. McGill was a very loving and selfless person, always putting her family's needs above her own. She loved flowers, gardening, and animals, especially her two dogs, "Halo" and "Sadie."

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Edward (Edd) Marshall and Lillie Barthel Hawn Marshall; husband, Jim McGill; infant son, Johnny Lee Marshall; brother, Jim Marshall; sister, Edna Crass; and brother-in-law, Tom Crass.

Survivors include sons, Tony McGill and Jimmy McGill, both of Oakdale; daughter, Gina Marshall Dishner and son-in-law Bill, whom Pauline loved as her own son; son, Steven Marshall of Rockwood; grandchildren, Amber, Cody, Chase (Jackie), Natalie, Stevey, Sage and Trace; two great-grandchildren; brother, John Marshall (Beverly) of Harriman; special niece, Sandy Thomas of Rockwood; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, in the Crab Orchard Cemetery, Oakdale, for graveside services and interment with Bro. Dennis Jarinagan officiating. Evans Mortuary, Rockwood, is in charge of arrangements.
