Wayne enlisted in the Army in 1953. After the Army he was a guide. He loved hunting, fishing, woodworking and gardening.
He started a career in construction, a member of Operating Engineers, Local 3 for 55 years. Worked at O. C. Jones & Sons for 29 years, which he retired from in 1997.
Wayne is survived by his wife Cathy and their 3 children; Tina Bowen-Fitzgerald, Noreen Barto and Robert Bowen, and his 2 children from previous marriage, Dale Rose and Cordy (Rose) Porto. Also 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
