Bonnie Kate Biggs, age 81, of West Knoxville, daughter of the late Elbert Rogers Lawhorn and Anna Belle Kirby Lawhorn, passed away Wednesday November 30, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church Bluegrass and retired from Knox County Schools with over 38 years of service.

Bonnie was also preceded in death by children, Ernest Ray Biggs, Robert Eugene Biggs and Kathy Ann Blair. She is survived by her husband of over 66 years, Orville Biggs; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Melody Biggs; host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Bonnie's life will be 7:00 p.m., Sunday, at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel, with Rev. Andrew Lynn and Rev. Toby Dykes officiating. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be pallbearers. The family and friends will meet and leave Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel at 1:30 p.m., Monday, and proceed to West Emory Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service.
