She was the daughter of the late Francis Cagle and Fannie Jane Cranford Cagle.
Kay was employed as a secretary at the former Buyers Market and Reid's Pawn Shop, both in Kannapolis, NC. She later worked for the former Fieldcrest-Cannon, Inc. She enjoyed crocheting, watching NASCAR racing as well as a Dale Earnhardt fan, and canning foods especially green tomatoes and hot peppers. Kay also loved going to Gatlinburg, TN on regular visits.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Norman E. Hill who died June 13, 2015; a brother, Jimmy Cagle; and two sisters, Lucille Fite and Ann Edwards.
