July 20, 1927 - December 1, 2016 Dorothy M. Fischer, 89, of Fairfield, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Ballerino; great-grandson, Tyler Pillion and niece, Vickie Lyons. Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Donna Taylor and Tammy Platt; grandchildren, Shawn Pillion, Shannon Pillion, Brandi Powers, Brittney Richardson and Armando Oliva; great-grandchildren, McKaylee, Zoe, Zachary, Maleah and Isaac; great-great-granddaughter, Mia; sisters, Fran Thomas and Margie Boguskie; brothers, Bill Baker and Lynn Baker as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining and spending time with her family. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. The family will receive friends at the Ivey Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd, Hamilton, on Tuesday, December 6 from 11am until 12pm with funeral services commencing at 12pm. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park, Hamilton.
