A private entombment will be in the Mausoleum of Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Mr. Krenkel died Wednesday, July 25, 2001.
Born in Cleveland, he was a son of the late Herman W. and Anna Sonnendecker Krenkel. He retired from Square D Company, having served as Marketing Director. Formerly of Cleveland, he had been a local resident since 1972. Mr. Krenkel was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy during World War II, having served in the South Pacific. He attended Beulah Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Jo Ann Rogers Krenkel; sons, Richard H. Krenkel of Spokane, Wash. and Robert W. Krenkel III of Seattle; daughter, Barbara Jean Harding of Strongsville, Ohio; stepdaughters, Kathy Jo Price, Deborah Morris, Molly Wilson and Betty Hugg, all of Columbia; sister, Dorothy Louise Krenkel of Parma Heights, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a sister, Lucille Krenkel Foster.
