Michelle Woolery-Hunter, 49 of Bridgeport entered into eternal rest Thursday, October 20, 2016 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies, to Desmond Woolery and Elaine Barnett, Michelle has been a resident of Bridgeport for the past twenty-four years. She earned an Associates Degree from Housatonic Community College and had just completed her last class in her third year of Nursing at St. Vincent's College. Michele was employed as a phlebotomist at St. Vincent's Medical center for the past twenty years. She was spiritually nourished as a disciple of Bethel Shiloh Apostolic Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and the Children's Choir Director. In addition to her parents, she leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Anthony Hunter of Bridgeport; four sons, Semaj Hunter of Boston, Geovanni, Mckyle and Michael Hunter of Bridgeport; three brothers, Michael of Trumbull, Mark of NY and Danes of Antigua, WI; five sisters, Karlene of TX, Sophia and Marsha of Bridgeport, Annieth of London, ENG and Theresa of NY; a host of nephews, and nieces, as well as a special nephew, Troy Woolery. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 4, 2016, 7:00 PM and Saturday, November 5, 2016, 9:30 AM at Faith and Hope Apostolic Church, 1475 Noble, Ave., Bridgeport with Pastor Mary Fuller, officiating. Interment will follow the Saturday service at Mt. Grove Cemetery, Easton.
