Maysville-Connie Sue Thatcher Lowe, 76, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 28, 2016. She was born on April 8, 1940 in Portsmouth, OH. She was a woman who loved her family, friends, beloved pets, and everything beautiful. She was a member of Washington United Methodist Church. Connie earned her Bachelors and Master of Science at the University of Cincinnati. After many years of nursing, she became an instructor at the Maysville Community College. Later, she became the coordinator of the Nursing Program. Connie was granted the full Professor of Nursing through the University of Kentucky. She finished her career at Maysville Community College where she was dedicated to teaching her students. Connie was the daughter of the late Morris and Garnet Thatcher.

Connie was preceded in death by her sisters, Sally Pierce and Carrie Jo Thatcher. Pallbearers for Mrs. Lowe will be Mike Thatcher, Robert Wallace, Dean Toller, Jim Hart, Ben Hart, and Harrison Hart. Funeral will be 11 am on Saturday at Moore & Parker Funeral Home in Maysville. Burial will be at Washington Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
