Daniel Lee Stevenson, 49, of South Roxana died at 2:30 a.m. on June 14, 2016, at his residence, after a long illness.
Funeral services were held in Hillsboro on July 15, 2016, and Mr. Stevenson was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro.
He was born in Alameda, CA, on Oct. 25, 1966, the son of Sheryl Jean (Thatcher) Lively and the late Marvin F. Stevenson.
An avid car enthusiast, he worked as an auto mechanic until he was disabled.
In addition to his mother, Jean Lively of California, he is survived by his brothers Marvin Frank Stevenson and Thomas Doyle Taylor, both of California, an aunt and uncle, Ben and Carol (Thatcher) Priess of Missouri and cousins, Jodie (Priess) Sanders, Angela (Priess) Pinz and B.
