Joel Ashton Fillebrown, 79, of Berryville, Virginia, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 in a local nursing home.

Mr. Fillebrown was born October 3, 1933 in Washington, DC, son of the late Robert Lee Fillebrown and Helen Bernice Williams Fillebrown.

Before retirement, he was a Technical Service Manager for Xerox Corporation.

He had served in the U. S. Navy and was a member of the Plane Krazy model airplane club.

He married Delores Fillebrown on June 13, 1959 in Arlington, Virginia.

Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Teresa Johnson and her husband, Buddy of Merritt Island, FL and Tracy Rush of Woodbridge, VA; two sons, Thomas Fillebrown and his wife, Robin of Sterling, VA and Timothy Fillebrown and his wife, LeeAnn of Ridge, MD; his sister, Carolyn Mellen of Berryville, VA and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 A. M. Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville, VA with Rev. Dr. Ken Patrick officiating.
