Kenneth retired from Link- Belt after 34 years and was currently employed by Intelligrated. He was a devoted NRA member and loved to deer hunt, fish, and enjoyed the game of soccer, which he coached.
He was a member of Lancaster Church of Christ.
Also surviving are two sons: Kelly Shepard of Nicholasville and Chad Shepard of Lancaster; one brother, Mark Shepard(Penny) of Georgetown; a sister, Sandra Stone(JR) of Georgia; four grandchildren: Baylee Moberly, Peyton Shepard, Aubrey Shepard, and Cooper Shepard.
Kenneth is preceded in death by a brother, Gary Dean Shepard.
Funeral services 1:00 PM Friday July 8, 2016 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Hill officiating. Visitation Thursday 5-9 PM.
Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Joe Murphy, Malone Anderson, Ralph Sherman, Brandon Firmature, Matt Lane, and David Lyons.
Honorary pallbearers are Lester Sensabaugh and Harold Todd.
