Phyllis Butcher Trent, age 90, passed away at her residence, November 29, 2016. Phyllis was a native of Enfield, England and a resident of Murfreesboro.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Bessie Alice Butcher; husband, Huston Trent; son, Bryan Trent; brother, Joseph Butcher; sisters, Beryl Edith Butcher, Bessie Alice Frank and half sister, Ceinwen Firkins. She is survived by her sons, John Bentley Trent of Murfreesboro, Bart (Carrie Young) Trent of Murfreesboro, Barry (Darlene) Trent of Kingston, Bradley (Cindy) Trent of Utah and Boyd Trent of Murfreesboro; daughter, Barbara (Clyde) Wakham of Murfreesboro, daughter-in-law, Judy Trent of Murfreesboro; sister, Eileen Yeo; thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 3:00 PM, Friday, December 2, 2016 at Evergreen Cemetery with Ben Earthman officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Jennings and Ayers.
