Leroy " Rock Hound " Martin

On November 28, 2016 Mr. Leroy “Rock Hound” Martin age 82, of Hillsboro, TN entered into rest at Life Care of Tullahoma surrounded by his loved ones. Leroy was an adventurous man with a heart of gold. His family was the center of his life and he made sure they knew it at every chance he could. His passions were simple and filled with creativity. He enjoyed making jewelry out of precious stones he found, playing music, fishing and he loved talking to people from around the world on his CB Radio being known as “The Rock Hound”.
He is preceded in death by his parents Hoyt and Eula Mae Martin; Brother Charles Joe; Son Danny Ray Martin and an Infant Great-Great Grandchild.
He is survived by his children James Martin, Sheryl Brown and fiancé Joe, Johnny Martin, Robert Peoples (Peggy Jean), Diane Swinford (Richard), Steve Martin (Kathy) and daughter-in-law Teresa Martin; Grandchildren Tammy, April, Raymond, Shane, Deidere, Bo, Jeremy, Shelby, D.J., Brandon, Kara, Heather, Gary, Jeffery, Samantha, Jason and Cody; Sisters Annie Mae Keller (Gary) and Merion Estell Peoples (Harold); Many Great-Great Grandchildren and Great-Great-Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews and loving Friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Tullahoma Funeral Home from Five O’clock in the evening until Eight O’clock in the evening with services on Thursday, December 1, 2016 in the Chapel of Tullahoma Funeral Home beginning at Eleven O’clock in the morning with Pastor Christian Watts officiating. Interment will follow to Bethany Cemetery in Normandy, TN.
