KEITHVILLE, LA - Services to celebrate the home going of Mrs. Mary M. Patton, 96, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 3, 2012, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Mike Stowell of Keithville Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Thursday evening between the hours of 6-8 p.m.
Mary was born on July 24, 1915, in Silom Springs, AR and entered into peaceful rest on Tuesday, January 31, 2012. She was a Godly woman who put her Lord first, family second and her country third. She attended Sunday school at Keithville Baptist Church and was always faithful in attendance. Mary was also a "people person" who would laugh and cry right along with her friends and family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who will be deeply missed!
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd A. Patton; parents, Anderson and Julia (Wright) Remy; and seven siblings. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Joan Festervan; sons, Charles Ray Patton and wife, Faye, H. Floyd Patton and wife, Evelyn Rae, and Loyd A. Patton and wife, Elizabeth; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; and thirty-three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Floyd Patton, Jr., Floyd Patton, III, Bobby Joe Bloxom, James Burford, IV, Luke Ayon, Matthew Patton, Loyd Patton, Jr., and Dave Mosner. Honorary pallbearers are Daryl Patton, Juan Moreno, and Kyle Waters.
