Telegram was received here Monday telling if the death of Mrs T J Brown at Little Rock, Ark, Sunday Night. The remains were carried to Ashwood where services were held at St John church, followed by interment in the church graveyard. Mrs Brown, before her marriage, was Miss Amanda Pillow, daughter of the late Gen Gideon J Pillow. The following gentlemen acted as pall-bearers: T E Gordon, H O Fulton, J D Dobbins, Eugene Anderson, W P Woldridge, Andrew Dale.
