She worked as a dispatcher and was without a doubt the best in the department. When the going got tough they called on Lynn to man the radio. She never failed to answer the call and carried out her duties with professionalism and courtesy.

CASEY, Lynn Marie Age 52 of Nashville passed away on January 2, 2007. She
was born in Davidson County Tennessee on January 20, 1954. Preceded in death by her grandparent's, Horace and Emerald Anderton and Charlie and Ethel Casey.
Survived by her parent's, the former Chief of Police, Joe Casey and Jewell Casey, her three sisters and brother in law's and a brother and sister in law. In addition, Loving nieces and nephews
Lynn is a graduate of Stratford High School and Volunteer Community College. Lynn was employed by Metro Government for 34 years which included in Communications with the Metro Police Department and at the time of her death, Supervisor and Lieutenant with Nashville Davidson County 911 Emergency Communications. She was a past President, Web-master and News Editor / publisher of TENA. She was a NENA Institute Board member and active in NENA, TENA, APCO and TNAPCO.
She was a member of Eastland Baptist Church. She was a lover of people and cats.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association of Tennessee, the American Diabetes Association or the Nashville Humane Society in her Memory.
