She was a lifelong resident of Forest City and a graduate of Cool Springs High School. Marjorie was a retired claims adjuster having started her career with the G.B. Harrill Agency which later became Insurance Marketing Service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Forest City where following her retirement she enjoyed working as a volunteer in the church office each week.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe "Joby" McDonald, her sister, Helon Martin and brother, Sevil Horn.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra M. Nanney and husband Mike, and Connie McDonald all of Forest City, as well as a number of nieces and nephew
The funeral service will be held at eleven o'clock Thursday in the First Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Garin Hill, Reverend Tony Spencer and Reverend Dr. Barry Keys officiating. Interment will follow in the Cool Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from six until eight o'clock Wednesday evening at The Padgett and King Mortuary.
