Brenda Ann Hoover, 70, of Corsicana, passed away November 26, 2016. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Corley Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 1, 2016, at Unity Baptist Church, Corsicana with Pastor Chad Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Pattison Cemetery.

Brenda was born in Nashville, Tennessee, to Vada and James Swafford. She married James David Hoover, Sr. on March 9, 1991.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vada Nicholson; son, James Stanley Hoover; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Bone.

Survivors include her husband, James; sons; daughters; 39 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four sisters; two brothers; other relatives and many friends. J5
