She was born in Decatur, Ga., to Albert "Mickey" and Ellen "Bunny" Moore McVey. Besides her parents, she is survived by her son, Ryan James Nelson, and three brothers, Thomas, Christopher and Daniel McVey, as well many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
Her beautiful smile and loving nature will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was one of God's children. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 29, in Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. For those unable to attend the service. Memorial contributions can be made to The Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
