Sonya Denise Williams was born March 3, 1966 in Miami, Florida at Christian Hospital to the parents of Ernestine Moton and the late Andre Williams.
Sonya attended grade school and graduated from Miami Northwestern Senior High School. Sonya enjoyed cooking, laughing and being with her family.
Later on in her life Sonya volunteered her time feeding the homeless and distributing food from local food banks.
Sonya was a mother and a devoted grandmother. She had a kind heart. She was giving, loving, understanding and the life of the party no matter where she was.
She is preceded in death by her son Edward C. Rahming Jr.
Those who cherish her memories sons: David (Rasheeda) Williams, Keith Williams, Kelvin Williams, Kendrick Williams, Lawrence Williams, Andrew (Tekeshia) Rahming; daughters: Jacquita Williams, Rosa Williams. She leaves eighteen grandchildren; brothers: Kenneth Williams, Edwin Williams, Jeffrey Williams; sisters: Shirley Williams, Linda (Jimmy) Hughes, Brenda (Broderick) Rouse; aunt: Lorene (Fritz) Chavez; uncles: Henry Edmondson, Jimmy Jr. Edmondson; great aunt: Emma Balom and she also leaves memories to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
