Marvin Anderson "Andy" Turner Jr., 73 years old of Jacksonville, Florida died Monday, August 22, 2016.

He was born October 14, 1943 in Oglethorpe Georgia, to parents Marvin A. Turner, Sr. and Betty Bryan Turner. Marvin graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and enlisted in the US Army. He served from 1966-1968 and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked for Overhead Door Company and then was self employed.

Andy attended Friendship Community Church and lived in Jacksonville, Florida until his death. He will be remembered for always sharing Jesus with others.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his only son Rev. Bryan Turner and is survived by wife, Charlene Turner; grandchildren, Benjamin and Timothy Turner; adopted children, Natalie Barfield, Matthew Sanders and Abigail Barfield; mother-in-law, Eleanor Williams; siblings Joe Turner (Pam), Nancy Grant and Keeter Prevatt; niece and nephews, Elizabeth, Walker, Hank & Dave and close friend, Mike Hendricks.

Memorial Service will be held at 1o'clock, Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Friendship Community Church 1410 Tutter Street, Jacksonville Florida 32211 with military honors conferred.
