Rosalie was born on July 23, 1921. She passed away peacefully on November 25, 2016. She was 95 years old, a native and lifelong resident of Plaquemine and a devout Catholic.

Visiting will be at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 5 to 9pm and at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 8am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Entombment in Grace Memorial Park.

She is survived by three children, Coan Joseph Bueche, Sr. and wife, Karen C. Bueche of Plaquemine, Rosalind Marie Bueche of Plaquemine, and Kim Bueche Hardman and husband Jay G. Hardman, Jr., of Baton Rouge; six grandchildren, Robin Burgess, Coan Bueche, Jr., Karen Sylvest, Brenda Brown, Glenda Cavalier, and Maggie Hardman; eleven great-grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren; a sister, Willie Hebert and a sister by one day, Dorothy “Tootie” Devillier.

Preceded in death by her husband of 67 years,

Wilson Joseph Bueche; parents, Reddick Edward Stevens and Emma Clement Stevens; sisters, Laura Callegan, Gertrude Ruiz, Marilyn Mire, June Passantino, Norma Ann Bellelo; and brothers, Coan, Reddick Jr., Eugene, Elwood, Elmo and Robert Stevens.
