Mr. Leo Kyle Robertson, 93, of Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016. He was born in Grayson County, Virginia, on March 27, 1923 to Lemmie W. and Dora Archer Robertson. He was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Robertson served his country in the U.S. Army as a medic in World War II in the European Theatre stationed in Paris. He retired from Mclean Trucking Company with 32 years of loyal service. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post in Independence, Virginia.

Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Juanita, three sisters, and a brother. Surviving are four sons Jerry Robertson of Winston-Salem, Larry (Mary) Robertson and David Robertson both of California, and Tim Robertson of Mocksville, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and a brother, Reid Robertson of Elk Creek, Va.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M. at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Parkway on Saturday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
