Jesse Bryant Green, age 79, of Northport, Alabama, went home to be his Lord on 25 Nov 2016, at Hospice of West Alabama.
Services will be Monday, 28 Nov 2016, at Emmanuel Baptist Cgurch, with Rev. Bobby Holladay officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Gardens. Visitation will be 25 Nov 2016 from 4-6 pm at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Green; mother, Florence Geeen; brother, Thomas Green; and sister, Nolvice Green Bearden.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Elsie; one daughter, one son, three grandchildren; brother, Billy and sister, Johnnie.
He was known as Jesse to some and Bryant to others. He was a former employee of Gulf States Paper Corporation and retired from BF Goodrich. He was a loving and faithful husband, a wonderful father and Papa to his children and grandchildren, and a good friend to many.
He had a wonderful sense of humor, remembering jokes to share on any occasion. His hope for the future was based on his relationship with Jesus, as his Lord and Savior. He enjoyed playing golf, gardening, and building shooting houses. He always enjoyed spending time with lifelong friends. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church for 54 years.
