Harry F. Bower, 87, of Mill Hall died Sunday, March 4, 2001 at Lock Haven Hospital Extended Care.
Born July 5, 1913 in Williamsport, he was a son of the late William and Laura Mollenkoph Bower. In 1934 he married Mabel Kreidler who died in November 1961. In April 1979 he married Mary E. Deibler who died February 6, 1983.
In 1979 he retired from Champion Parts Rebuilders where he had worked for 33 years. He had previously worked at ML Claster and Sons as a truck driver for five years. He was a former member of the Rote United Methodist Church.
He was survived by six daughters, Delores Mann of Jersey Shore; Janice Bower and Harriet Barzdo both of Jacksonville Beach, Florida; Valeria Wither of Bonita Springs, Florida; Joyce Marshall of Beech Creek; Delilia Thai of Bellefonte; a son James E. of Nichols New York; 23 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Visitation was at the Dean K. Wetzler Jr. Funeral Home, Mill Hall. Her funeral was at the funeral home with the Reverend Barbara Ammann of Beech Creek United Methodist Church officiating.
Burial was be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.
