Katherine Marie (Rinkenbaugh) Neff, 72, of Plantersville, Texas died November 21, 2016 at North Cypress Medical Center in Cypress, Texas.

A memorial service and interment will take place at Richmond Memory Gardens in Richmond, Missouri at a later date.

Katherine was born in Excelsior Springs, Missouri on August 31, 1944. She graduated from Richmond High School in 1963 and married high school sweetheart, Paul Alan Neff, in 1964. They lived in the Kansas City, Missouri area until they moved to Plantersville in 1975.

Her survivors include two sisters, Janny Nelson and Glenda Smith of Warrensburg, Missouri; one brother, John Rinkenbaugh of Camden, Missouri; daughter, Stacy Yorek of Navasota, Texas; son, Bret Neff of Plantersville, Texas; and 4 granddaughters, Averi Yorek, Mackenzie, Kendall and Bailey Neff.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Alan Neff in 1989; her father, Roland Rinkenbaugh in 1995; her mother, Virginia J. Rinkenbaugh in 2009.

Katy was an artist and an avid racing enthusiast involved in motor sports until Parkinson's disease prevented further involvement in 2007.
